Long-running, no-nonsense bar featuring a jukebox loaded with punk & an old-school photobooth.
From Google Maps reviews.
its funny how every bad dive bar review is someone saying they didnt tip and than got called out by the bartender. tip your bartenders and i promise you your bar experience will be amazing. its pretty basic. bartenders work for tips and when you dont youre wasting space for customers who will spend money and know how to drink
Very poor customer service. One of the worst bars in the East Village for customer service. Staff were rude and actively spoke poorly about me in front of other patrons in a manner that was audible to me and my friend after they perceived my tip to be "too small". Did not even say "thank you" after I offered a tip. One pint of Guinness was $11, compared to $8-9 in the neighborhood. There are many other bars in the East Village with a better atmosphere, better service, and more competitive prices
Good prices. Neighborhood dive bar. Loved the Horseshoe Bar. Service was good. Thought it would be a friendlier place, maybe on another day of the week it is. I went on Wednesday afternoon. Maybe I'll try it again, maybe not.
