I am not from New York, but I have traveled many places across the world. One of my favorite places is the Caribbean. Now eating at 867 Caribbean eatery I thought for sure I was in the Caribbean. The food was absolutely exquisite the service from the host, Sharon was outstanding.. I felt welcomed and important. The food by Chef Neal was so good that you could taste the love in it. I absolutely 1000% suggested everyone tries 867 Caribbean eatery in Queens new York.
I order from here all the time. I recommend the curry goat. However oxtail, stew chicken, curry chicken and jerk salmon are always good. They used to carry desert, but I think the baker left or something. Anyways, they have some of the best Caribbean food that I’ve tasted in a while. Also, great customer service.
Ive been coming here off and on for at least going on three years now and compared to other Caribbean restaurants in my neighborhood i usually choose this place as the last option due to how mediocre the food is. Ive been to several Caribbean islands so unless the food tastes like exactly how the people over there make it i aint eating it. The curry goat is almost always “out” ALWAYS around dinner time and the only thing keeping them open in my opinion is their $8 lunch specials where you can ON
