We were looking for a bar before a meal at Tuome and found this sake bar near by. We went after our meal, walked in and it was very welcoming. Austin the owner was very friendly & had superb sake knowledge. We described drinks we liked & he found sake that reflected this. All the drinks we had were lovely & had a great chat with Austin. Highly recommend & would definitely go back. Great prices also. Large range of sake.
This hidden gem in the East Village has a fantastic speakeasy vibe with dim lighting, great music, and a relaxed yet stylish atmosphere. The cocktails are incredibly creative and well-balanced; I tried the smoked Negroni and the yuzu margarita, both of which were outstanding. This bar is a lovely spot, perfect for chilling and hanging out. The owner is so knowledgeable about all the sakes and some are truly so so good, you’re bound to try something that you like. If you don’t want an extremely loud bar, and one you can hear yourself think, while sipping on something delicious, this is your place!
