We’ve been coming to Alfonso’s for over twenty years. The pastries and cakes are simply superb when fresh, and were particularly outstanding today! The rainbow cannoli cookie (decadently layered with cannoli cream), red velvet cake, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and napoleon were delicious. The service is nice and welcoming. Would highly recommend for classic Italian pastries and baked goods!
I purchased chocolate-covered strawberries from Alfonso’s the other day. On display, there were dark chocolate strawberries on one side and milk chocolate lined up next to it. I specifically asked the woman assisting me for four milk chocolate-covered strawberries. She initially placed them in a plastic bag, and I had to ask her to put them in a box instead. Later that day, when I served them to my guests and we opened the box, I was extremely disappointed to see that I had received three dark
