There's borscht, blintzes & matzo ball soup on the menu of this old-school, circa-1940 kosher diner.
From Google Maps reviews.
B&H Dairy Kosher Deli is a classic spot with a huge menu and so many options to choose from. The selection is really impressive everything from soups to blintzes, sandwiches, and traditional kosher comfort food. The food tastes homemade and very satisfying, and the service is fast and friendly. It has that old-school New York deli vibe that you don’t find too often anymore. Definitely a great place to go when you want something hearty and authentic.
This was maybe the best meal I had in New York. I loved the communal aspect of the restaurant; you can really tell it’s a beloved, historic place. The server was super cool and recommended the “Tieso” (a customer-created custom dish-lovely concept) and the lentil soup, both outstanding. The bread (challah?) is unbelievably good. Sad that the “Challah por favor” black cap was sold out would have bought it if available. Next time
small, classic NY diner. an unassuming store front but a real gem inside. the matzo ball soup and knishes and gravy were hot and hearty, with a reasonable price given you’re in NYC. efficient staff.
