Stopped by this sports bar to watch an NBA playoff game. It was definitely a younger crowd, so we probably stood out a bit, but everyone was very polite and welcoming. Some people even took the initiative to strike up conversations with us, asking where we were from after realizing we were tourists. We genuinely enjoyed their company and the friendly atmosphere. The staff also took good care of us throughout the evening. Overall, it turned out to be a very enjoyable experience.
Stopped in expecting a good meal, but the experience was disappointing. I found a piece of paper left on my cheese/patty, which really should never happen in a restaurant kitchen. The bigger issue was the service setup — there wasn’t really any table service, and we had to go up to the bar to place our order ourselves, which wasn’t very clear when we arrived. The food itself was okay, but between the lack of service and the paper in the food, it definitely took away from the experience.
I’ve been going to Bleecker Street Bar for years and it never disappoints! Our bartender Mariana took great care of us, and the flatbreads are my go to with my favorite beer! Overall 10/10 experience between the service, pool tables, food, ambiance, and jukebox! Great vibe. They will always have my business.
