I I’ve been wanting to visit this coffee shop, which doubles as a wine bar, as part of my list of work-friendly coffee shops in New York City. On a rainy Monday, I found it completely empty. I asked the cashier if it’s usually empty, and he mentioned that it tends to be empty because NYU students are away for the summer. I ordered a cacao bite with a cacao latte, which had very minimal to no caffeine. It was savory, rich, and flavorful. It’s a great spot, and I highly recommend it.
Good option for coworking! The standout is their cacao-based drinks, positioned as a coffee alternative. It’s not gimmicky — the drink is rich, slightly earthy, and less sweet than hot chocolate. The space has an industrial NYC café vibe - better for a quick stop or a co working spot considering the free wifi and clean bathroom.
This place is an absolute gem. Came here at night for an event and we had the best time ever. Intimate space. Incredible DJ!!! Vibes were next level. I'd love to come and support this business during the day. Check out the food. Thank you Stripes! New fan here and incredible first impression!
