Came back after many years during my recent Fordham reunion weekend. Still outstanding! Cannoli, cookies, cake, coffee, all wonderful. My favorite. So glad that I was able to come back for a visit, and a box of pastries to go for my family back in Colorado.
I recently left another review but after having taste another cassata cake I now know what they’re supposed to taste like. I asked if they knew how to make a cake in a certain style I wanted & I received something completely different also the sponge cake was really dryer. If you knew you weren’t able to have done it I feel like that should’ve been communicated to me & I would’ve went elsewhere. The cannoli cream is 10/10 though will recommend that. Oldest bakery shop in Bronx's Little Italy (since 1912), this place was quaint, traditional and cozy with very friendly people behind the counter who make you want to stay. It's amazing what kindness can do. My Sicilian wife ordered a cappuccino and sfogliatella.
