Cute place and cute atmosphere. We enjoyed the covered outside seating and the coffee was made well and tasted good. It did not upset my stomach which is huge for me, and that’s with good coffee beans! I thought it was funny the bathroom was a slice of the wall, tiny toilet, room for one leg. I genuinely thought it was funny and not being from NY (as you can tell) a cute experience.
This place is worth visiting for the history alone. Open since 1927 and even featured in The Godfather Part II, the atmosphere is beautiful, classic and full of old New York character. You really feel like you stepped into a piece of the city’s past. Service was excellent. Very fast and efficient, but at the same time they don’t rush you out, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy the setting. The downside was the food and drinks. The atmosphere is really cozy, the inside feels like a movie set with everyone talking and o really it’s really cozy! The prices are also really good and the quality is also really high. I had the pecan pie with Ice cream which both were delicious. The carrot juice was also fresh! Overall a nice place to visit.
