Went to Cap't Loui - Cajun Seafood Boil restaurant in New York for a seafood feast. Ordered the 4 lbs seafood boil combo packed with bold flavors. Everything was fresh, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Also tried the lobster roll with crispy fries on the side. Finished with oysters that were clean and delicious. Ended with their yummy desserts. A satisfying seafood experience worth every bite.
While the service was decent, the food was at best mid. Ts just tasted like watery oily shrimp the eggs tasted straight out of Highbridge, Bronx and the corn tasted like plastic. Let me not forget about the $33 lobster tail with less meat than in a vegan supermarket and more chewy than your local Orbit gum... anyways no hate but I would never step foot in this establishement again, I recommend other places like aqua boil that had a way richer and better cajun sauce for the same price. Delicious Cajun seafood with casual vibes. We got 1 pound of shrimp + 1 pound of snow crab legs + Cajun fries + garlic noodles + lemonade between two people. The portions were perfect - we ate everything. The garlic noodles were so delicious (both by themselves and dipped in the captain loui sauce).
