Cute place, lot of selections on the menu from real food, soups, to pastries. I had the chai latte with a chocolate chip cookie and beef empanada. The empanada was so good, I recommend it! Also comes with a dipping sauce that adds to the flavor! Nice place to catch up with friends, relax, and get work done!
As a college student in nyc, it can be difficult trying to find a cafe with enough seating and a quiet enough atmosphere to study in, and I had been meaning to give this place a chance since it’s right by campus. The staff were so friendly. Coffee came out quickly and I got started on my coffee cake right away~ You could easily argue that the menu selection isn’t that different from many of the other cafes in the city. And, sure, maybe the atmosphere isn’t as “aesthetic” as most students would
The baristas are great. The regular lattes are phenomenal. But the matcha powder is horrible. Like terrible. I’m not kidding you are a cafe place in the middle of NYC, do not cut corners with bad quality matcha. People would rather pay more for good quality than pay less for trash. I sincerely mean this with the upmost respect to your business, change the matcha powder! It’s muddy and unflavorful, not earthy and vibrant as a matcha should be. Get rid of the organic and get ceremonial.
