I put 5 starts to everything because for me this place is able to include all the best ingredients of New York City. Pizza is very very good… high quality and solid. I loved the Vodka Sauce and Pepperoni, the Burrata and the Chicory. But I would have tried more. Service was quick and very pleasant. The guy served us with patience, answered all our questions and was nice. The spot… it screams NYC and it is cozy with room to sit and enjoy the pizza (opposite to other fancier and more known places
I had a great quick bite at Cello’s Pizzeria while walking my way around Manhattan recently. The shop is low-key, but has a welcoming atmosphere, helpful staff, and really tasty slices. I ordered a marinara slice and a pepperoni + jalapeño slice, along with a cold Peroni beer. The slices were crisp but not burnt, had zero flop, and the sauce was bursting with flavor. Toppings were good on the topping slice, too. Overall the meal was quick, warm, super tasty, and satiating. I recommend checking
Stopped in for a quick slice and asked the staff for a recommendation. They steered me to the burrata pizza. Good pick-me-up, I was happy! The clientele are a friendly bunch, just like the staff. This feels like a “happy place” where people hang out and socialize over pizza & beer.
