Dear Strangers? Yes, they certainly treat you like one! This place is not good. They seemed unprepared to handle restaurant week. There weren't enough servers to handle the crowd and that was reflective in our dinner service. Despite being checked in on 0 times and having to flag them down for water, to order, and to get our check, their attitude wasn't warm or accommodating at all. We stopped by Dear Strangers and honestly had one of the best dessert experiences we’ve had in the West Village. The cheesecake was one of kind, incredibly light, creamy, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. What really made the night stand out was the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone was welcoming, polite, attentive, and genuinely warm from the moment we walked in.
