Counter-serve outpost of a Japanese chain making yakisoba noodles & okonomiyaki pancakes.
From Google Maps reviews.
We found this authentic Japanese restaurant serving Ramen, Rice and noodles in a warm, inviting space near NYU. It tasted just like what I had in Tokyo last year. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
I was really impressed by this place. Some of the best (vegetarian in my case) ramen I’ve had in New York. Delicious marinated tofu and grilled vegetables, chewy springy noodles, etc. They have unusual menu options like ramen rice as well. Rick is extremely courteous and informative about the menu, more than he has any need to be for a casual restaurant. He even remembered my dietary preferences between visits. Great vibes all around.
Amazing fried Chicken. Soft and crunchy (rice puff) on the outside with every bite. Clean ingredients. They definitely used new oil. Yuzu lemonade 🍋. Nothing beats it. Pork Okonomi-yaki is just soft while cabbage is crunchy. Fresh ingredient once again. Feeling light yet full at the end. Must try
