I have been to DROM many times, primarily to support and see my client Lizzie Thomas a.k.a. Lizzie is a jazz singer perform. Being part of Lizzie‘s team enabled me to go backstage and really get a feel for the venue. The glam room is cute. The staff Is friendly, the lighting is very sexy and makes the performer and their band or team looked really great on stage. You could either “dine in” or sit at the bar to Enjoy the show.
Great concert by a Finnish group Frigg during the Super Bowl, and the staff was pleasant and attentive, but the fish & chips at $26 (plus mandatory 20% tip) was overcooked, hardly edible and short on fish. I sent back the first fish portion because it was fried to a char. The second was slightly better. The fries were plentiful and OK but dusted with too much fine salt. No vinegar was available but generic hot sauce was provided on request. The place was too dark to photograph the food. My one-
An absolute staple for incredible live music in the East Village! The staff at Drom are incredibly professional, welcoming, and keep the venue running flawlessly. But the real highlight is the stage the musicians they book are absolutely top tier and world-class. It’s clear they only select the absolute best musicians in the industry. If you want great drinks, great service, and unmatched musical talent on Avenue A, this is the place to be!
