I had such an amazing time at Downtime! The atmosphere was exactly what we were hoping for; vibrant, lively, and full of energy that made hanging out with friends feel special. The decor, music, and overall vibe set the perfect tone for a night out in the city. Unfortunately, would not recommend to book for birthday events as the events manager doesn’t communicate internally or externally which caused an array of conflict, confusion and not being able attain the items that what we booked for and no customer service resolution. A lot of things we felt completely duped on such the birthday package, the “contract” and being forced to purchase items that we did not want to purchase in order to fulfill a nonexistent contract. Really disappointing experience
Had a great time with my friends as they hosted their birthday party. Everyone downstairs was so kind and appreciate their service. The female bouncer was incredibly rude and mocking my friends and I. She was consistently giving dirty looks, and overall severely lacked a hospitable nature. I have never had such negative interactions with bar staff. Thank you to the other staff who made the night great, and I hope the bouncer can get the training she needs to have decent kindness.
