A bit crowded & noisy for my tastes BUT, manageable. EXCELLENT food and strong drinks!!! Immaculate bathroom that's handicap accessible. Crowd looks like NYU trust fund kids and trendy hipsters but, I enjoyed this spot immensely and WILL BE BACK!! A gem of deliciously delightful Mexican food in the East Village!!
Edited April 2026 - added photos of Gordo More-Ita Munch special and the bacon-wrapped hot dog. The gordo was not particularly good value at $12 and I wasn’t super impressed with - unmelted cheese, not super full, and about 3 times more expensive than its Taco Bell equivalent (shout out to Taco Bell for value). The bacon wrapped hot dog was better, and though it’s $9 I would get it again! A great little dive bar experience with great Mexican food. The food menu is great, with a few non standard
Great atmosphere for hanging out but the food is most definately overhyped and the bartender wasn’t friendly. Did not meet my expectation given all the hype on social media.
