It was nice to return to Frenchette, this time for dinner. Loved the fish soup. It was flavorful and a little thick from fish meat. The bread with saffron aioli was a great touch—really satisfying. The gnocchi Parisienne was another delicious dish. The gnocchi nuggets were just the right density and the cheese and sauce brought it together in one delicious bite. The first appetizer had very little fish — it was mostly beets. The flavor was actually nice though, slightly sweet with yogurt, which worked well together. The second dish tasted good, but unfortunately a lot of the beef was extremely fatty to the point that it was hard to eat.
