Had an incredible experience at FREVO. The hidden art entrance gives it a true speakeasy feel, and the intimate setting makes the entire evening feel personal and exclusive. Each course was creative, beautifully presented, and full of unique flavors. One of the best parts was the interaction with the chefs, it felt like a personalized dining experience rather than a traditional restaurant meal. The attention to detail, atmosphere, and pacing of the tasting menu made for a really memorable night.
First off, I'd like to say that I really enjoyed the concept of this restaurant within an art gallery. The staff was excellent and it was very cozy inside, although a bit chilly. The courses were fine to me personally, but unfortunately for the price point that this particular tasting menu was, fine doesn't cut it. I found the first course to be the best. Frevo is a full-on experience. Came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and everything—from the service to the food—was flawless. We even got to meet the chef, which made the night feel extra special. Every course was wildly creative, with flavors I honestly didn’t know were possible. Thoughtful, bold, and beautifully executed dishes from start to finish. This is the kind of place that reminds you why NYC dining is unmatched. Absolute must for food lovers
