Friend of a Farmer is a wonderfully cozy break from the chaos of New York. Stepping inside feels like being transported to a country kitchen. Went here for a solo breakfast whilst in NYC. Really cosy interior, really enjoyed the design and warmth of it. The staff were very friendly and chatty, which was appreciated. I ordered the boomer special (which is a little bit of everything) with the apple pancakes and the smoked salmon as the protein - it was all delicious and very well done classic American food.
