We tried the Scrambled Cheddar Biscuit, the Avocado Feta Toast, and the Mediterranean Chicken Sandwich, and the biscuit was hands-down our favorite. The eggs were soft, the cheddar was melty, and the biscuit itself was fluffy and flavorful, easily something we’d come back for. Gotan never disappoints. The quality of both the food and coffee is consistently excellent. I had the shakshuka this time, and it was rich, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. Came for lunch a little past 1pm and it was crowded but not hard to find seating. I had the açaí bowl ($12) and the chai latte ($6) and neither were outstanding but both were good! There was a seasonal chai latte with turmeric that I sadly didn’t see until after ordering that I’d love to have tried, and my friend got the chicken and cauliflower salad which was a generous portion and even had a GF bread substitute. Definitely a solid choice for a quick bite or rest in the area.
