Chill atmosphere and vegan cream cheese options make for an enjoyable experience. Great bagels (at least to this out-of-towner) and friendly staff. Pick up the NYTimes across the street at 7-11 for a complete experience.
I was just in the city from New Jersey running some errands and randomly walked in without any expectations, but it turned out to be a really great surprise. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich and an everything bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, and both were absolutely delicious. The sandwich was perfectly cooked, warm, and satisfying, and the jalapeño cream cheese had just the right balance of creamy and spicy. What really made the experience even better was the staff! This is the best bagel spot in Flatiron / Gramercy. Soft and doughy bread with generous toppings. I always get the lox on everything. The staff are very friendly and I’ve never had to wait for pick-up orders.
