The hotel was very festive during our stay, which we loved. They had large nutcrackers at the entrance, multiple Christmas trees, garlands with twinkle lights, and even a menorah. The staff was extremely friendly, especially Rosa, who noticed me admiring the decorations and recommended checking out the nearby Hilton Garden Inn for its larger Christmas tree and yummy restaurant. As a frequent business traveler, I rarely leave bad reviews, but this our first family vacation stay to New York was ruined. The staff members at the front desk and kitchen were very kind and helpful, which is the only reason I am giving two stars. However, the room itself was disgusting and completely broken down: we found blood spots on the floor and door, hairs left in the bathtub, mold on the walls, and no fan to clear out the bathroom moisture.
