My boyfriend and I stopped by on our way to grab a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be one of the best Indian food places we've been to. The restaurant is small but very clean. I appreciated that the utensils were sealed in paper sleeves, the dishes were spotless, and the chef brought out the food wearing gloves. My husband and I were staying at a hotel while passing through NY and this lovely restaurant was across the street. The atmosphere was lovely! Our server was so hospitable and kind. The food was so delicious and flavorful! Best Indian food we have had in a very long time! And the chai was perfect! We can’t wait to be back soon.
If you're looking for a spot that actually gets the spices right, this is it. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken that comes with two piece of chicken leg, and you could tell they didn't skip the marination time I guess 😃 the chicken was tender all the way to the bone and had that perfect smoky finish you can see that in the video.
