Mr Frank was so accommodating and kind, an absolute pleasure to speak to! The waiting staff were superb (Jose and Franklin especially). The food was flawless and the atmosphere perfect. As our last night in NY we couldn’t be happier!
Such a classic New York institution. My best friend has celebrated her birthday here for the past few years, and it’s always a great time. The food isn’t the main draw for me, but the atmosphere absolutely is—great energy, wine flowing, lots of laughter and conversation. They were also able to accommodate our group on relatively short notice, which we really appreciated. The staff is warm and attentive, and they plate dishes for the table, which adds to the experience. Overall, just a really sol
We had reservations here on a Sunday night. The restaurant was moderately busy, and we were seated upon arrival. Service was good and efficient. Ambiance was very pretty with dim, soft lighting. Dress code was very relaxed. We enjoyed the calamari appetizer, not breaded but grilled. I enjoyed the paparelle dish with sausage...large size and very flavorful. My husband's swordfish was, unfortunately, overcooked and a little dry. Overall, a good experience. Would definitely recommend.
