Came across a Jamrock Jerk Food truck in my neighborhood and had to see what the unmistakeable Jerk Chicken aroma was all about. As with most Food Trucks the line says a lot. In this case there was none and they were dead smack in the middle of a high traffic mall area. That was the first sign. Gave them a try anyway and we were unfortunately disappointed. I had the bone-in jerk Chicken platter and the chicken was deliciously smoked. While I do prefer a little more heat, the flavor was perfect; especially after adding the jerk sauce that came on the side. The rice & beans w/plantain was part of the platter but it was a meal unto itself. Although most might not care, low-key the salad was a banger as well. Super fresh greens and veggies. I can't wait to catch this "food truck" set up again so I can try the oxtail stew and jerk pork and mac & cheese
Drove all the way here just to try this place and it did NOT disappoint 🔥 The food was fresh, flavorful, and packed with authentic Jamaican taste. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of spice and smoky flavor. You can tell they put love into the food. Staff was friendly, portions were great, and the whole experience was worth the drive. Definitely coming back again!
