We walked in on a blustery afternoon pre-theatre just by chance. This tiny village café has the most flavorful gelato we've ever had, and delicious coffee too! 36 flavors, about half of them vegan, and the owners encourage you to mix and match! We had the Banana Bread combined with the Dark Night, a vegan dark chocolate that was sumptuously thick and rich. If you find yourself in the area of Beeckman and Christopher in the Village, we highly recommend stopping in here!
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE GELATO EXPERIENCE! Julietta Gelato Café on Bleecker Street is a hidden gem in NYC. I ordered the Medio cup with three flavors, and every single one was outstanding — creamy, fresh, and bursting with authentic flavor. The pistachio and hazelnut were both very good, especially the pistachio was quite strong flavor wise which I like! Some things they could improve upon would be the freezer temperature; could be a bit lower cause you already see the tops of some flavors in the freezer counter melting and we had to eat the ice cream super fast since it started melting a lot immediately.
