Anytime is a good time for ramen. I wasn’t even hungry, but walked by, saw this spot, and had to stop—and I’m so glad I did. It’s a small shop (maybe 20 seats or less). Friendly quick service with a vibe that reminded me of izakayas in Tokyo. Cozy, no-frills, and all about the food. We ordered the tonkotsu and the spicy ginger stamina ramen. I want to give the food a 4 star because I didn’t completely enjoy my ramen but it was so well prepared that I couldn’t. I didn’t know what I was expecting when I ordered the spicy black tan tan ramen. I just thought that sounded different. Thankfully my kid got the tried and true tonkatsu so I could try my other choice (they don’t have miso or spicy miso btw). I would say this place has a cozy environment. It’s a small restaurant, and a bit pricey as I got a Tonkatsu ramen, but it is Manhattan so can’t expect anything to be cheap. Service was quick, very attentive staff and a overall solid ramen spot for a quick meal!
