Quick and easy lunch! Super affordable. I got a gigantic piece of jerk chicken and some cooked up rice for $10, but the chicken alone is $5 I think? They also added on some plantains. Super flavorful and yummy!the workers were friendly and fast paced. Definitely a local gem.
$12.50 in my opinion an excellent price for the quantity and quality of food. My first time eating food from Guyana, the young woman that helped me was lovely and I hope to be back to try more!
I’m big on first impressions, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with such a warm welcome! I ordered “house food” rice, dhal, and pochownie—and it truly tasted like home. Everything was so flavorful and comforting. The salara was warm and gooey, just how I like it! Every dish was fresh, and the portions were generous. I’ll definitely be back!
