Absolutely loved our brunch at Ladybird in the East Village. From the second we walked in, the space felt like a dreamy hidden garden tucked into Manhattan. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The Frittata, Avocado Toast, Egg Sandwich, and Chocolate Chip Pancakes were all incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented. It’s one of those rare plant-based spots that fully delivers on both creativity and indulgence. Easily one of my favorite vegan brunch spots in NYC already. Can’t wait to come
Walking into Ladybird felt like stepping into a Charlotte Brontë novel: cozy, moody, and quietly romantic. I had the bao buns and waffles with fried mushroom, both fully vegan and packed with flavor. The bao were soft and satisfying, coated with delicious sauces. while the waffles stood out: crispy, fluffy, and topped with rich, savory mushrooms. Comforting yet elevated, it’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to.
Delicious and fun fusion. We got the bao trio (one of each) and the buffalo one was my favorite. Kimchi arancini was tasty, loved the mango slaw but it kinda missed on the kimchi flavor. Again tasty but didn't get much kimchi. We also got the dumplings with a perfect crispy bottom and amazing sauce and the tonkatsu sammie. Happy hour pricing was amazing!
