LaVagna is the neighborhood joint even though I live on the UWS that I always come home to and for; GREAT whole food, rich with spices, as if eating at your grandmothers home. The service is always great, so welcoming, Roy will remember your drink/cocktail and have it ready for even before you lift your eyes from the menu......this is truly a gem to dine, solo, with friend or on a date...it's intimate and safe, the staff including the kitchen, are friendly and accommodating with any request.
