One of the best bakeries in the city. I’m so glad I don’t live closer, I’d be there every day which would be bad for my health. The pistachio rose croissant is perfection. It gets a lot of attention, and rightly so, but don’t let it distract you from the rest of their offerings. Everything they bake is incredible, we also love the halva chocolate croissant and chocolate chip cookie are standouts. And they make a good cup of coffee to boot!
Been here several times now for a variety of baked goods and they all have been of great quality! I also appreciate their flavor palette for being unique and distinct. You won't find a viral trend here. I love their malted hot chocolate and the hanging disco croissant! Seating is limited and generally full on weekends. You can go sit across the street though at Cooper Square.
I had the chance to visit Librae Bakery during my time in Manhattan, and their croissants are truly outstanding. The pistachio croissant topped with rose petals is absolutely to die for. If you enjoy Persian-inspired flavors like pistachios and rose, this one will definitely win you over. I also tried the chocolate croissant and it was just as good— rich, flaky, and perfectly baked.
