The burger was so good (perfectly seasoned, the bun was incredibly soft and buttery) and the egg was excellent too. The crab toast was decent and it wasn’t anything particularly memorable. The burger was definitely the standout dish by far. The service was amazing and all the staff were so nice. The food came out so fast as well! I really wanted to try the toffee pancake as well, but the portion looked pretty big so we are saving it for next time. I just wish they offered a smaller portion size
It was all about our Sarai! (Our bartender/server). Her smile. Her energy, her willingness to share knowledge of our drinks, the process of the cooking of the French fries, everything! As my wife and i’s first time here, we came for the food, but stayed because of Sarai. We will be back and mainly when she is working! One of my new favorites, can’t wait to go back. The burger lived up to the hype and is likely top five for me. They have the best chips in NYC and the sticky toffee pancake is somehow decadent and fluffy without being too cloying or rich. We thought we would have trouble finishing it…nope. Also enjoyed the peekytoe toast and curried lamb scotch egg. The only knock I have is the service felt off.
