Second visit to Loring Place, and while there is genuinely a lot to appreciate here, it left me with mixed feelings. We came here for dinner as a party of three and had such a genuinely great experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is what you notice immediately, it strikes that perfect balance of feeling lively and energetic without being overwhelming. It feels like a place you could come for a special occasion or just a really good night out and it would work equally well for both. We decided to split a number of plates so we could try as much as possible, and everything we ordered felt intentional
Shame they’re closing, they have phenomenal lemon curd for their pancakes. Honestly all the fruit preserves and butters are top notch. Also really appreciate the attention to texture in their dishes. Lots of crunch and soft and flavors mixing together to create memorable plates.
