Great dive bar. The place is comfortable and clean. They have a cute backyard. The service is good. They do great pours and the prices are very good. I would definitely come back
Wow I read the review from the girl whose friends played card for four hours and I thought, it took four hours to ask you to leave? I’m sure some of the fancy bars would have charged you $15 a drink and told you to leave, bar etiquette (even according to Google) states the same. You’re lucky you weren’t in a bar in the EV in 2000 - my boyfriend was a bartender and someone told him their shot wasn’t chilled enough. Well he stuck his finger in it and said it tasted fine and kicked him out. YEP
Lovely bar, some very nice regulars. Shame about the owner who is very happy to get online and respond boldly to negative reviews but too afraid to be upfront in person (unless she’s yelling down a street once people have left according to past reviews?) Maybe these online responses are a marketing tactic? It’s all very strange but to each their own. Not for a younger demographic. Clientele predominantly mid 50s and up, so bear that in mind.
