Classic, well-balanced lobster roll with great sides — a pickle, Cape Cod chips, and a choice of drink (the real-ginger ginger ale is excellent). The lobster was tender and fresh, though a bit softer and milder in flavor than rolls found in Maine or Nantucket. Still, a satisfying, thoughtfully composed meal in a welcoming West Village spot.
I was really impressed with the service here! There was only one person working the counter, taking orders, and even cooking the food — and somehow she handled everything quickly, efficiently, and with a great attitude. You could tell she cared about every customer, keeping things moving while still making sure everyone got exactly what they ordered.
