My favorite coffee shop I’ve visited in NYC. Amazing espresso and pour over selection. The coffee was freshly roasted and made perfectly. The prices are also much more affordable than the other places nearby. The baristas were really friendly and knowledgeable. Upstairs they have tables and places you can work from a laptop. This is really nice place to work or have a meeting. I definitely plan to come back soon.
Edit: Everything below stands, but downgraded from 5->3 due to the shop being run and subsidized by Jews for Jesus, an evangelical organization that has ties to US christian nationalism and supports Israel. Maybe that’s why the shop is so affordable… Great spot. Decent coffee—nothing spectacular but solid and super cheap for the area, especially since they don’t upcharge for alt milks. The coffee here is the most affordable I’ve seen for the quality. The menu is pretty simple. They have 3 syrup options at the bar for you to add (honey, simple, vanilla). Alternate milk doesn’t cost extra! I ordered a hot latte with oat milk, then added honey syrup. This combination with the beans was a pretty nutty drink, not too bitter. The latte had a more subtle espresso taste, so if you like more of a coffee taste, get a cortado. The milk in my latte was a bit over frothed, so not as smoot
