I become a regular over the last few weeks at this place and I have to say the food is very good. I usually get the half pound of shrimp with the two sides of yams and mac & cheese, and everything is cooked perfection and has a lot of flavor. The only complaint I would have here is I find the staff sometimes to be a little less than friendly but outside of that, I highly recommend this place to anyone.
The fries and whitening were soggy due to the container not being aired out. The flavor was fine. The fries would’ve been great if they cooked more and crispy. Their tartar is so good. The cornbread wasn’t good. Crumbled so much and the flavor wasn’t anything special. I’d come here if I was going to eat the food fresh from the fryer.
Food was pretty good but not worth the 40 minutes i waited. Place was clean but staff was unfriendly and lacked customer service skills. They were more concerned with Uber eats and other food delivery services. I ordered jerk chicken, cabbage and mac and cheese for myself and fish and chips for my husband. I tried to buy 1 fried chicken wing, I was told I had to get an entire order. I also paid an extra $1.50 for 2 slices of white bread. Overall if unfriendly staff and long wait times don't matt
