Sometimes, I feel like the problem with such a highly popular restaurant like NAKS, is that people have high expectations. I’m one of those people. My partner and I were finally able to secure a decent dining hour reservation on a Friday night (!) and we were excited. Went for brunch and had a great time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere and good selection of food and drinks. The food was wonderful! I had the fries, pancake and crab omelette. I would recommend all of these if you come for brunch, will not regret. Definitely get reservations if you can, saw so many people being turned away because they didn’t have one.
I have been here for both brunch and dinner and the food has been great both times! It’s surprisingly spacious. I especially liked the back seating area, which was decorated very nicely. Brunch is a different and more limited menu than dinner. I got the traditional Filipino platter with the short rip tapa, which was delicious! I like their dinner menu more but both are solid. We had a reservation but you may be able to walk in - I noticed they were somewhat empty around 2pm on Saturday.
