My onion bagel with lox and light scallion cream cheese was delicious and very filling. The girl at the register was awesome and the honey-vanilla-hazelnut latte she suggested was 10/10. Just a few spots for sitting but there’s a pleasant little fountain and garden area nearby with benches that you can rest at.
So here’s the thing. I like this place because when they opened, the owner was on site, the prices were fair and the quality was great. I haven’t seen the owner here for a long time now. Over the last year, the quality declined and the prices increased. The business lacks a proper system. TRY USING POST-IT NOTES so your chefs get the order right…. Instead of yelling at them from behind the cashiers counter. I order from here often, but over 50% of the time, the order is incorrect. I’m not diff
We have been to New York a number of times but *shock horror* we have never had a Bagel. We had just finished a 7k walk along the Highline and was ready for breakfast. By chance we came across this place. So glad we did! Lots of choices but Breakfast Begel hit the spot for us. It was delicious. Staff were welcoming and friendly and we were also able to sit an eat. Thank you for an excellent first NY Bagel experience.
