The softest, stretchiest, freshest handmade mochi in the East Village! I tried the strawberry jam mochi from Pavlo a while back and couldn’t get over how soft it was. This time I went back to try more flavors and can confirm: every single one hits!! Each mochi is filled with fresh mousse cream or fruit jam. Unlike traditional japanese mochi, which tends to be denser and chewier, theirs has a pillowy, cloud-like wrapper that’s extra stretchy and light. They just dropped a Lunar New Year box ($3
Pavlo, what the hell 😭😭 I don’t know what I was expecting but it exceeded that. This was truly such a playful, exquisite treat. I found myself smiling from the first bite to my last. These mochis are packed with flavor. I came for the tiramisu mochi but also left with the dubai chocolate and strawberry/hazelnut mochis. I genuinely cannot choose a favorite, each flavor truly impressed me. So creative! Will be back to try more, thank you!
Came across this cute shop while strolling around, they have so many different flavors of mochi. Lovedd the banana flavor!! Cant wait to come back to try more flavors 😍😍 also the decor of the shop is so cute, all pink!!
