Lovely spot with a cozy, neighborhood feel. The restroom was immaculate, which I always appreciate. The French onion soup is the real deal, deeply caramelized onions with that perfect sweet-savory balance and a generous layer of melted cheese. Fries were excellent too: natural-cut, crispy outside, fluffy inside, and clearly made with care. Service was friendly and attentive without hovering. Definitely a place I’d come back to.
Phebe's is a super nice local Bar & Restaurant down in the Astor Place area of NYC. The service at the bar was great and our spinach and artichoke dip was awesome! This place is very dog friendly as well!
This place is amazing, our bartender Denny was attentive and professional and kind. We had the steak salad and steak sandwich both delicious! They have a great pint of Guinness. They had the games on for the World Cup. Watermelon marg was phenomenal, they have frozen pornstar martini. Denny plays the smiths and the stone roses. Highly recommend coming back next time I'm in the east village!
