Elevated takes on traditional Mexican dishes and margaritas in a hip, bustling atmosphere.

Delightful Mexican restaurant, very homey and welcoming vibe from the staff interactions to the decor/overall feel of the place. Large space so suitable for all group sizes. No wait even on a Saturday during brunch. Tasty dishes, highly recommend. We opted not to get drinks but everything we saw coming out looks good.. all the more reason to return during a happy hour!
Nice place for dinner! Guac was very fresh and so were the chips and salsa. We also enjoyed the fried corn esquites and the Al pastor tacos. The salsa could have been spicier and the portions of rice and beans could have been bigger considering the prices. I know it’s Manhattan, but the prices are still a bit high for what you get. Service was lovely and overall things were tasty, but it’s not as affordable as it could be. Still might be back just for the fresh tortillas, which were impressive.
Went here on a cold Saturday night after seeing Pozole Verde on the menu which is very difficult to find in NYC. Had reservations so was seated very quickly despite it being quite busy. We had a round of cocktails which were all very tasty and ordered a few items to share and each got our own individual green pozoles. The Pozole Verde was good but thought there was a bit too much star anise flavoring and not enough cilantro and jalapeño/serrano peppers (I was hoping for a bit of a spicy kick).
