If you’re looking for a great seafood options with family size portions, this is your place. But being a regular here i have high expectations. Sammy’s on City Island is a great dining experience. The seafood tasted fresh, and pieces provided are top-tier. The food is lightly seasoned, so may consider adding some salt. The menu is massive which is a blessing and a curse. The service was adequate, but they may benefit from 1 or 2 additional servers. Overall place experience to check out if you’re in the Bronx area.
We celebrated our anniversary at Eclipse Restaurant, and it was absolutely perfect. The view is breathtaking — dining right by the ocean made the evening feel so special and memorable. I made a reservation in advance, and everything went smoothly from the moment we arrived. The service was attentive, and the entire experience felt seamless. An amazing setting for a romantic celebration. We will definitely return.
