Shades of Green is bar none one of the best places to gather in New York City; and that’s saying a lot because there’s quite a few. Any bad review you may come across is an anomaly. The staff are attentive, affable, just as good at conversation as they are at mixing and serving drinks. The atmosphere is incredible. The ownership and management is next level. Shades of Green Pub is and has always been my favorite bar to be at. Their Irving room is the perfect place to either relax with a small group or host for a large party. I recently hosted my engagement party here and I can’t say enough how great JP, Rich, Kieran and Ketih treated our 60+ group. Great bar to spend an afternoon with friends watching sports! The burgers are surprisingly delicious and definitely fresh. Quiet and cozy but lively at the same time.
