So glad that there’s a good Chinese skewer place in the East Village now. Loved the skewers, get the lamb and beef ones, so flavorful and juicy. The spice mix they put on it really levels it up. Will come back again.
The skews are flavorful but really pricy considering how much meat is actually on each skew. Very disappointed with the quantity. And the meat quality is also average.
The beef, lamb, and lamb tendon skewers are perfectly roasted and so incredibly fragrant. The dishes were slightly on the salty side (especially the eggplant and chicken skeleton), but still delicious—I'll just ask for less salt on my next visit. Whatever you do, you MUST order the Dough Drop Soup (Geda Tang). It was the absolute best part of the meal! It’s packed with lots of eggs, tomatoes, and topped with a fragrant layer of sesame oil. It completely stole the show. 10/10, highly recommend.
