After trying quite a few affordable omakase spots around NYC, I’d sau this is the best-value $69 omakase serving good quality, thick-cut sashimi. We got exactly one hour to enjoy 13 courses—no fillers like apps, miso soup, or dessert—just nigiri and hand rolls. Went to Shinn East for the sushi omakase and the food itself did not disappoint. The sushi was genuinely yum, well-balanced, and thoughtfully prepared.
