Very cute little spot. I was looking for a spot to eat some pancakes in the Bronx, and a friend told me about Sky View Diner. Cute little decor they have going on. I think it will be my go-to spot for pancakes.
I ordered Mondongo to go. Got home and I was so disappointed with it. I’ve had way better. Heck, the Mondongo, in the can, made by Goya, is better. It was full of bones and fatty skin, as you can see from the pics. There was barely any tripe and it and the flavor was mild. To pay $8 for a small soup and it be bad, is beyond annoying. The diner is beautiful inside and very clean. The staff is nice however the food was trash. We ordered a cheeseburger and it was cold and the cheese they used was Kraft slice cheese!! We also ordered cheeseburger sliders and as you can see the buns were cheap quality and they were huge, not sliders size, the cheese was Kraft slice cheese and the meat was burnt.
