Overall, an OK meal but could have been improved in terms of good quality and more even service. A Bloody Mary I ordered at the outset of brunch never arrived over the course of our 1 hr meal, and the food that arrived was generally fine but unremarkable. My daughter had the much lauded pancakes and she thought they were good. The fruit bowl we ordered was excellent, plenty of fresh berries, melon and pineapple. WORST TAKE OUT EXPERIENCE EVER! On Saturday, March 28th, I called in to the Cafe Society and ordered a NY Prime Steak with potatoes to go. I trusted the high density of reviews and was left absolutely dissapointed. In the carboard box to go platter (not even quality tupperware) I found only 2 pieces of steak! I could not believe my eyes. Looked like a weight of 2 oz. Also, the potatoes I order (extra) tasted overly season and where drenched in a white sauce. I recommend to not ordering takeout
Had a fantastic brunch at Café Society with two friends, and I can’t recommend it enough! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a laid-back weekend catch-up. The service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and quick without being rushed. We started with a pitcher of mimosas, which was the perfect way to kick things off.
