Went to Soda Club last night for my boyfriend's bday. Angelia and Hamat are a dream team. They were so warm and welcoming. I was stressed after a long week, they had no clue, but they gave me so much ease. The food - amazing. We had the focaccia and olives to start - best I've had in both categories. The food is good enough but nothing special. The arancini was good but not enough salt both times I went now. The Focaccia was amazing but it’s just 4 pieces of garlic bread. The bucatini was good again not much flavor/salt and almost too al dente- little crunchy. Service was great! Atmosphere was way too dark inside for 6 pm and hot with a few fans running. Tight tiny seating as well.
This place is amazing. For starters, my server Madi and the bartender Manu were great company. Manu played great music, made delicious drinks, and was a fun conversationalist. Madi showed me a bunch of great wines from across the world with super detailed flavor profiles, truly a fun wine-tasting experience.
